ARTISTIC APPROACH
Discovering, creating and improving a painting at a glance to be a source of joy and pleasure.
Focusing research on luminosity and vibrations of colours expressed by clair-obscur and ample use of spatula.
Developing a freedom of expression in the movement, dictated by imagination in order to create and present a more personal approach.
Thinking, meditation and contemplation precede painting on flat canvas, or reliefs which carve objects and characters giving them an eye catching looking alive presence.
An interior breath dictates the color to me to be used. I like the state of surprise and sometimes unpredictable accidents caused by the application of the color and matter, in a spontaneous way. Still it is necessary that there is a gestural reason. Art is above all a gesture of reflection, then in the second time a gesture of exteriorization. That way, the work belongs to the one looking at it!
Looking where I can project on canvas my interior introspection. By thus expressing myself, and in a less conventional way. By this transition, I hope that the spectators develop their own interpretation of the subjects presented to them.
My new artistic mode is my desire of presenting instead of representing, of feeling instead of performing, and vibrating to the rythms and the inspirations of the moment.
